The internationally acclaimed Syracuse Children's Chorus has performed from Carnegie Hall to China, serving as central New York's musical ambassadors to the world. The mission of the Syracuse Children's Chorus is to teach artistry and excellence through the study and performance of outstanding choral music. Founded at Syracuse University in 1981 by Barbara M. Tagg, the Chorus is recognized for musical excellence and as a model for performance-based choral music education.
