The Learning Disabilities Association of Central New York, a not-for-profit agency, provides many services including: EDUCATIONAL CONSULTATIONS Provide information about Learning Disabilities (LD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and related disorders. Assist parents in understanding their child’s learning disability. Assist parents in accessing the appropriate services for their child’s educational placement.Provide information and referrals to tutors and community resources. ADULT SERVICES Information and resources to adults with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder and related disorders. Consultation with adult coordinator concerning education, employment, housing and finances. Assist clients to understand their diagnosis. Assist clients to access appropriate reasonable accommodations in school and/ or at work.
