The Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre is a not-for –profit corporation whose purpose is to restore, preserve, maintain and continue operations of the historical theater located in downtown Syracuse.The mission of the Syracuse Area Landmark Theatre is to serve the metropolitan community by expanding its capabilities as an entertainment center. It will Strive To deliver diverse entertainment programs which meet the desires and needs of the community, including its youth. A renewed effort will be made to keep the historical and educational aspects of its 1928 movie palace heritage in the forefront, so that future generations have the opportunity to learn the remarkable story behind the landmark theatre.
