| The Central New York Eye Bank is a private, not-profit, charitable medical organization whose primary purpose is to help restore sight by providing healthy eye tissue to ophthalmic surgeons.The Central New York Eye Bank procures, evaluates and distributes corneal and scleral tissue to transplanting surgeons for the purpose of sight restoration. The Eye Bank Laboratory is equipped to perform a wide range of medical and research functions in addition to our primary task of the proper storage and handling of delicate eye tissue. This provides the highest quality control to assure the recipient of the greatest chance for a successful corneal transplant. |
